FreeBeats.io was created in April 2018 by music producer and multi-instrumentalist White Hot. The goal was to build a catalog of free beats and instrumentals that artists and content creators could use in their projects.
Over 95% of the beats appearing on this website are produced by White Hot.
White Hot was a professional music producer from 2007-2014. Artists such as DJ Khaled, Ace Hood, Future, Soulja Boy, Yo Gotti and Lil Wayne have been featured on White Hot’s beats.
White Hot wrote 3 songs that appeared in the video game Mass Effect: Andromeda with writing partner DJ Michelle D.
In 2019, White Hot’s music was featured on both The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
In 2020, singer Lanie Gardner used one of White Hot’s instrumentals for her original song “Cry Me A River”.
